“My name is Joyce.  I had a knee replacement in Dec. 2016.  I ended up with nerve damage and had to wear a brace to walk.  I could not straighten my right knee or move my right ankle as a result.  I received physical therapy treatment at three different places without positive outcomes.  And by the way, all of the other physical therapists told me that I would have to live with my knee not being able to straighten and ankle not being able to move.  A friend told me about Dr. Carter and his hands-on, manual therapy approach and gave me his office number.  I started physical therapy treatment with Dr. Carter right away.  He performed manual therapy every visit and taught me a home exercise program, which he frequently added to and updated.  After about four treatment session with Dr. Carter, everything began to feel like it belonged to my body.  My right foot and ankle began to move, and I began to walk better.  I have a positive attitude and outlook now about my recovery.  One word to describe
